Whether you’re looking to use Kubernetes to build your stack or migrate to a cloud platform, our managed Kubernetes hosting can facilitate your digital transformation. Offering the most efficient and cost-effective solution, our experts are on hand 24/7/365, supporting various container programs, including Docker containers.
Have confidence in knowing that your containers are managed by certified Kubernetes experts who are on hand 24/7/365 and can help you deploy, scale and secure your workloads running on Kubernetes.
All of our container solutions include high-availability built-in. By eliminating single points of failure we ensure your application is continuously running, reducing the risk of downtime and allowing your customers to always reach you.
Our Kubernetes hosting allows you to automate the deployment, scaling, and management of containerised applications, streamlining development and operational workflows.
Our data centres all offer multiple layers of redundancy for power and cooling, from a minimum of N+1 at some sites, right through to N+N at others. Power is fed diversely from separate national grids with UPS and on-site generators available to take over where necessary, ensuring no drop in service.
We offer out-of-hours migration for your Kubernetes containers, or whenever you have the lowest volume of traffic, ensuring that live sites and applications take priority.
Scale your resources on demand during high-traffic periods with our high-performance cloud infrastructure. Go above and beyond Kubernetes autoscaling when you host with Hyve.
Our dedicated Kubernetes hosting solutions meet strict compliance policies including accreditations such as ISO 27001:2017, Cyber Essentials Plus and PCI DSS, ensuring a secure Kubernetes environment.
Our engineers regularly monitor applications and Kubernetes clusters leaving you with the peace of mind that your systems are secure and alerts resolved.
Stay in control of your costs as you scale your Kubernetes workloads with our predictable and fixed billing model.
Kubernetes is an open-source, portable platform for scaling, automating and managing containerised workloads. It facilitates easy management and discovery by grouping containers that make up applications into logical units. With both small and large software companies now deploying thousands of container instances daily, an entirely new infrastructure ecosystem has been created, which can be complex to manage. That’s where Kubernetes comes in.
Our cloud based container platform allows your business to:
Containers are essentially a logical packaging mechanism that virtualises operating systems (OS). Application code can be separated from the environment in which it actually runs so that it can be run anywhere – be it a desktop or in the cloud.
Containers are often compared with virtual machines (VMs). VMs work with a guest OS such as Windows or Linux running on top of a host OS with virtualized access to the hardware. With containers, instead of virtualizing the underlying hardware, they virtualise the OS, so that each individual container accommodates only the application and its libraries and dependencies.
When you are creating a shortlist of companies for your next cloud hosting project, it’s important to look into their compliance and accreditations.
Hyve has worked diligently to secure externally audited certifications in ISO 27001(Information Security), ISO 27017 (Cloud Security) and ISO9001 (Management systems). We have also been awarded PCI-DSS compliance, are Cyber Essentials Plus certified and are part of the government G-Cloud 13 framework, as well as a Crown Commercial supplier.
As a hosting provider that hosts some of the UK’s critical infrastructure, we comply fully with the NIS Regulation 2018, which was formulated by the NCSC (part of GCHQ) to boost the overall level of security (both cyber and physical) of network and digital information systems.
