Global provider of managed hosting solutions, Hyve Managed Hosting, today announced the launch of its new Australian hub, marking a significant step in the company’s international growth and strengthening its ability to support customers across Australia and the wider Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
As part of its Australian launch, Hyve is establishing its local presence in Sydney. The company has secured an office in the city and plans to move into a new location in the Bondi Junction area later this year. Expected to open in October, the new office will serve as a hub for the company’s growing Australia-based sales, technical support and engineering teams. It will give organisations across the region direct access to local expertise at every stage, from the initial scoping process through to ongoing support.
Hyve has confirmed that its Sydney and Melbourne data centre locations are now live, delivered via Equinix. This is enabling Hyve to provide Australian customers with access to its full portfolio of managed hosting and cloud services, including Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) and Private Cloud solutions, backed by managed security and compliance expertise. Both data centre locations have been set up with the capacity to expand as customer demand increases.
The launch responds to the growing demand from Australian organisations for secure, high-performance managed cloud services that support data sovereignty and residency requirements. For many businesses, particularly those operating critical workloads or handling sensitive information, ensuring that data remains subject to Australian jurisdiction – not just physically located in-country – is becoming an increasingly important factor when selecting cloud infrastructure partners.

The launch follows Hyve’s recent announcement of its collaboration with Red Hat, the world’s leading provider of enterprise open-source software, to deliver a fully managed platform built on Red Hat OpenShift that helps customers modernise infrastructure, reduce operational overhead and build an AI-ready foundation.
Hyve is now also exploring further expansion within Australia, including a potential data centre location in Perth, Western Australia, as part of its longer-term plan to support customers across the region.
