Our Network
Delivering the best network performance in the industry
We know it’s not easy to build and manage a secure network ecosystem alongside your day-to-day business operations. That’s where we can help.
Whether you’re looking to boost performance, protect your business-critical data or centralise network management, our experts can customise your network configuration to meet your business needs.
Our network is the fundamental backbone of our operations and products. We utilise multiple, diversely routed connections to Tier 1 upstream providers. With global transit suppliers including Cogent and Level 3, we guarantee 100% network availability for our customers, with a money-back guarantee.
Not only do we work with multiple transit providers, but each point of presence has a redundant UPS system and two independent UPSs feeding the equipment, so if any of your UPSs fail, your connectivity will not be affected.
Our network capacity is significantly larger than that required for daily customer operations. This huge bandwidth capability not only allows plenty of room for growth but also ensures we are equipped for unexpected traffic spikes. We regularly review our network capacity and expend it as required.
We don’t penalise clients for generating high volumes of inbound and outbound traffic. That’s why our bandwidth is 100% unrestricted inside and out. Powered by a 100GbE backbone network, our total bandwidth capacity is second to none, thanks to multiple, diversely-routed 100GbE fibre uplinks.
As well as partnering with multiple transit providers to provide internet connectivity, our network also has points of presence on a number of global Internet Exchanges (IX). This means we can provide very low latency connectivity with major internet backbones, connecting you, with very few hops, to anywhere in the world.
We utilise dynamically controlled BGP to provide intelligent, fail-safe routing, assure uptime and deliver superior performance. We continuously monitor network performance to Internet destinations and automatically route your users to the fastest available connection, ensuring maximum connection speed with minimum latency.
We utilise intelligent, multilayer access control to protect the network from unwanted traffic and intrusions. We also have the capability to swing traffic and elements of our network via BGP to external DDoS scrubbing facilities as and when required in order to ensure that our network can not be easily overwhelmed.
Our ultra-responsive, UK-based support team becomes an extension of your business. We offer a ‘direct-to-engineer’ service, with rapid response times from just 20 minutes. Our experts can provide full management of firewalls and products local to your platform such as load balancers, firewalls, WAF, CDN and caching engines.
