Private cloud is an on-demand cloud deployment model where hardware is solely exclusive to the needs of an individual client or organisation. Private cloud is one of the three most common forms of cloud deployments, alongside its public cloud and hybrid cloud counterparts. Although all three forms of cloud models share a number of similarities, private cloud differs substantially on a number of core characteristics.
