The challenge

Migrating to a new hosting provider was a big decision for Upshot Media, as it meant moving all of their customer’s websites. Their chosen provider therefore needed to be the right choice for both their own and their client’s needs. 

Upshot Media needed to partner with a hosting provider who could manage the hardware, hardware operating system, and specific applications and software used for the Upshot team to manage clients’ websites.

Their hosting requirements included powerful infrastructure, reliable network connectivity, a layered security suite, and resilient back-up and disaster recovery strategies. 

Finally, they needed a provider with a deep understanding of their business and their requirements, who could manage all of the elements where they didn’t have the expertise, time or resources. This would allow their team to focus on what they love doing.

The solution

Upshot Media undertook a detailed research process, consulting with multiple hosting companies about their requirements, and seeking advice on how the provider could improve their infrastructure. They took into consideration price, level of understanding, quality of service, and aftercare and support.

Based on their requirements, the bespoke proposal from Hyve ticked every box. Our engineers built their solution on our secure multi-tenant platform, and supported Upshot Media’s team to complete a seamless migration. 

Upshot Media have now been partnered with Hyve for 3 years, and have been consistently happy with the ongoing personal relationship and understanding of their needs. During this time, there have been no outages or unplanned downtime for any of their customer’s sites.
