We offer the three main service models, aiming to provide flexible cloud solutions.

IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service)
IaaS is an infrastructure that is rented to clients and accessed over the internet, meaning that users don’t need to purchase expensive equipment. At Hyve we run VMWare, offering the fastest and most reliable server virtualisation software in the cloud computing market. With our IaaS service we house, run and maintain the physical or virtual machines, firewalls and load balancers that are then accessed by our clients over the internet. IaaS services reduce company running costs heavily, meaning that users only pay for the server resources that they use.

PaaS (Platform as a Service)
With PaaS, we facilitate the running and development of software applications from a central cloud computing platform. We maintain the platform, and users can rent virtualised servers, operating systems, databases and application servers which are accessed via a web browser.

Our PaaS service enables users to run their required applications without purchasing the software or hardware themselves. We can run various applications with PaaS, and have over 10 years experience hosting Apache Web Server and Tomcat Application Servers connected to MySQL or SQL server databases.

SaaS (Software as a Service)
Lastly, with SaaS, we provide software applications that are hosted on behalf of our clients. The software is accessible from a central location such as a centralised server, and can be used remotely. Users do not have to manage or control the network servers or operating systems, they rent online software from us instead of actually purchasing and installing it on their computers. SaaS services are installed over the internet and can be scaled to the individual user’s requirements, generally being charged on a pay-per-usage basis.

Hyve provide flexibility within the cloud by offering the main ‘as a service’ models to clients, but they all share the core elements of reliability, scalability, speed and cost-effectiveness.
