Cloud Sales Consultant / New business executive

£22,500-35,000 + OTE

 

Hyve is a fully managed UK-based cloud hosting provider with a passion for technology. We’re seeking a Cloud Sales Consultant to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities:

  • Targeting prospective customers through B2B calling, using LinkedIn sales navigator and email
  • Generating new business
  • Contacting & visiting customers
  • Managing business relationships
  • Networking with professionals
  • Managing sales & achieving targets
  • Building a pipeline of new business leads

 

Skills & experience:

  • A track record of outstanding business development with a focus on new business to both SMB and Enterprise target clients
  • Good technical knowledge and understanding of the hosting landscape (cloud, dedicated, colocation etc)
  • Strong track record of driving revenue through strategic selling and negotiation techniques, face to face presentations, and high-quality proposals
  • Use a consultative, positive, solution-focused mentality at all times with a proactive and can-do attitude
  • You can rapidly build great relationships and provide practical solutions to prospective customers business challenges
  • You will know how to present services and solutions and be able to adapt and vary your approach to suit your audience
  • Fantastic customer service skills and ability to resolve questions efficiently and effectively
  • Proficient with all facets of MS Office, in particular, Excel and Powerpoint
  • You’ll have knowledge of with managed hosting

 

Personal attributes:

  • Experience with forging strong relationships with clients and creating compelling Tender Responses (RFQ, RFP, RFI) to meet the demands of sales opportunities and challenges
  • You love dealing with business owners and have a talent for understanding their own agendas and challenges
  • Impeccably spoken and written English
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Confident self-starter who works well in a team. Able to learn quickly, use your own initiative and motivated to get the job done effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Social and outgoing and easily able to build relationships
