We know how important it is to invest in local talent to readdress the skills gap in the IT industry. This week we hosted our first Codebar at our Brighton office.

Codebar is a free, weekly coding workshop that runs in 19 cities worldwide. Their aim is to make coding and technology more accessible for women, LGBTQIA+ and people who are underrepresented in the tech industry.

Brighton is lucky enough to have a thriving Codebar community, with a great team of organisers and coaches on hand to teach anything from basic HTML to JavaScript and Ruby.

Nothing like pizzas and beers to start the night, then a talk from our Front-End Developer, Jack, about his experiences in the industry.

Then off for an evening of coding!
