Our world class facilities are strategically located in London Global Switch; Somerset, New Jersey (New York Metro), San Jose, California; Hong Kong and Shanghai, China.
Europe's largest purpose-built data centre, offering scalable, resilient space solutions. This is a Tier III data centre. The facility is situated within close proximity of the main fibre route, and is underpinned by a minumum N+1 standard for power and colling systems, delivering an optimal operating environment to clients 24x7.
Responding to the demand for highly secure, fully redundant data centre facilities, Hyve added the Somerset, New Jersey data centre facility in 2007. This facility is SAS 70 Type II certified. Strategically located 46 miles southwest of New York City and five miles from Rutgers University's New Brunswick campus in central New Jersey, this purpose built data centre features a state-of-the-art network, power and environmental infrastructure.
Specially trained, highly experienced system and network engineering staff actively manage and maintain the facility 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. This is one of the first commercially available facilities in the world with a three factor security access requirement.
Strategically located in downtown San Jose, in the heart of Silicon Valley, this purpose built data centre features a state-of-the-art network, power and environmental infrastructure.
In this facility Hyve offers co-location and fully managed hosting solutions, as well as direct access to multiple network providers including AboveNet, DataPipe, Level 3, MCI, SBC and XO.
World-class facility strategically located in Hong Kong. Expert support engineers are onsite 24/7, and undergo regular code of conduct reviews. All facilities follow well-defined security policies. These policies are regularly audited and modified in order to maintain the highest standards.
The facility has the highest standards for reliability, security and redundancy in Shanghai. Strategically located in Pudong, this purpose built data centre features a state-of-the-art network, power and environmental infrastructure. Hyve staffs this centre with our own specially trained and highly experienced system engineering staff who actively manage and maintain our systems 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
We treat the security of your data as critical. Our facilities are designed around providing predictable, reliable security for your data, with consistent monitoring of all critical areas.
Each centre is staffed 24x7 with highly trained, experienced support engineers. Regular code of conduct reviews are required for all support personnel. Monitoring is conducted from redundant locations to prevent a single point of failure.
All essential equipment including core routers and switches are fully redundant and 'hot spares' are on-site in each facility.
Powered by STS 48 backbone, providing exceptional performance and virtually unlimited scalability. Gigabit Fiber Optic Infrastructure, Fully Managed Network and Redundant connections to diverse backbones for uninterupted bandwidth. Easy scalability and bandwidth on demand.
We utilize Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), to provide intelligent, fail-safe routing. When one of our providers has network issues which may cause connections to slow down, we route your customers to the fastest available connection, to ensure maximum connection speed and virtually eliminate downtime.
Hyve furnishes dual power availability to each rack unit from independent power distribution units (PDUs), removing PDU loss as a single point of failure.
To ensure stable connectivity, we provide a redundant Need+1 (N+1) design of uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) utilizing two separate commercial power feeds from two separatepower grids to provide power to the centres.
Multiple redundant standby generators guarantee consistent coperation in the event of a power failure from commercial power. These generators are equipped with 72 hours of diesel fuel on site, with two contractors on call to refuel the storage tanks.
Hyve has implemented a Need+1 (N+1) design of cooling towers, water pumps and chillers to maintain a controlled environment. Conditions are a uniform 72° with 50% relative humidity. Multiple air handling units provide another level of redundancy to further ensure consistently sound environmental conditions.
Fire detection and suppression systems ensure 24/7 protection of your critical systems. Dual fire detection (photo electronic/ionization and sniffer) systems and VESDA® fire alarm systems are in place to constantly monitor for any potential areas of concern.
A mult-zone pre-action dry pipe suppression system allows any suppression necessary to be contained to the affected areas; conditions elsewhere will not be disrupted.
