Private/Public key Encryption

Public key encryption requires that a public key and a private key be generated. Data encrypted with the public key can only be decrypted using the corresponding private key and vice versa.

The private key is stored in a key database file that is password-protected. Only the owner of the private key can access the private key to decrypt messages that are encrypted using the corresponding public key.

This means that only the advanced user, accessing the specific computer that the key is installed on, can attempt authentication. This provides the highest level of security possible.
